Day 7: I miss the crowd

COVID has kept me out of a crowd since March 13th, 2020

I tend not to like people, but love crowds, it’s an odd thing. We’re not talking about a at bar or even at some bigger party type setting, I am talking about the traditional sea of people you might find at a large concert or sporting event.

Being able to get and be lost in the crowd brings a distinct sense of freedom freedom and comfort to me.

I think it is because I can relax and not have to worry about appearing to “belong” because I feel confident I do. It is therapeutic in a sense too. To not care about the status or class of anyone here, knowing that we all have something in common here.

Countless friends have been made in the crowd, mostly momentary in nature, but sometimes life long connections are made. I miss those opportunities.
